ABOUT THE ARTBREAKER

Currently, I'm a middle aged man residing in the Midwest USA. My favorite things are music and art and mostly no people.

I'm a visual artist, with deep roots in street art and graffiti. I have a felony charge in these realms that has greatly altered how I participate in public art, but I will never stop. Ever.

Letterform, with special regard to logo design, is probably my biggest passion. I've created thousands of logos and I hope to create thousands more. I'll be out here fuckin' up this alphabet for my own reasons, in the meantime.

I produce weird music when tickled to do so. I think it's better than most people seem to clock it, but I'm also a bit of a narcissist so, y'know. That said, It is okay enough to have been pressed to vinyl and CD and cassette on more than one occasion.

I did the full time single dad thing for nearly 20 years. I worked in the funeral industry for several of them, most rewarding job I ever had. Commercial driving, customer service, and manual labor been my hustle over the years. When I've not been workin' on art or music, of course.

I ran the Grindthieves blog and was active in the early experimental/breakbeat music scene that existed online at the time. The forums, the blogs, the chats sharing files, all of it. I also did a number of "net.art" pages over the years.

I spearheaded both the Bludclot Recordings and TheDarkTapes netlabels in the early 00s, with the help of some great crew I've only ever known online.

I was involved with working or booking some very important events in the realms of jungle/breakcore/idm/etc in the mid 00s especially.

I wrote for the Magicore blog for a long while.

Currently battling pretty severe gout flare ups and moderately-to-severe mental health shit, but just trying to keep it vibin.

Done a number of other pretty cool things too. Hopefully you think this website is one of them.
